Churches - Oberammergau

The Roman Catholic and Protestant churches will offer visitors to the Passion Play 2000 services and opportunities for meetings and discussions. An information booklet entitled "The Churches Invite You" provides more information on this. For Example, there will be organ music in the churches in the afternoon for contemplation; after the play the Holy Communion will be celebrated in the Protestant church at 5.30 pm and 9.00 pm, in the Roman Catholic church at

6.00 pm and at 7.30 pm.

The tour operators are requested to take this into consideration when planning their schedules and draw the attention of the visitors to the Passion Play to these events.
